Danceathon

On Saturday, March 20th, members of The Red Embers, Stagecraft Ireland and other dance supporters took part in a DANCE-A-THON in aid of Operation Lift. From 10am until 8pm, there were 10 solid hours of poi, bellydance, glow poi and fire dance on display in the Ballroom and outside in the Forecourt. Each participant raised sponsorship for their efforts, and so far €300 has been raised with more to come in.

Members of the Irish Burning Man arrived to glow poi and Firefan dance when they attended The Irish Burner’s Potluck at 7pm, which raised €1000 so far! More to come ….

Castlepalooza sponsorship

As most will know Charleville Castle plays host to the year festival Castlepalooza run by CherryCool Promotions with this year being no exception (earlybird tickets available now!) Castlepalooza is alot of work for everyone involved with it, the volunteers involved put in a tremendious amout of work perpering the site, during the festival itself and site clean up afterwards. In relation to that the Castle has an insurance bill to keep up each year and this year the organisers of Castlepalooza have kindly agreed to pay the bill for this year. Without talking about amounts it means that another bit of wieght of concern has been lifted from our shoulders this year and allow us to concentrate even more on the current project.
